Inner-shell ionization finds many applications related to materials analysis. However, full theoreticalcalculations in heavy multielectronic atoms (Z ≥ 75) are scarce. In this contribution we present recent calculations for the case of protons and electrons in Au, Pb and Bi, for the L and M subshells
