Resumen:
ABSTRACT   Earth-to-air heat exchangers use the ground as heat source or heat sink by heating o cooling an air stream flowing inside buried pipes. This paper analyzes the transient thermal behavior of two buried pipe systems in educational buildings of Argentina: offices and labs for professors and researchers of Universidad Nacional de La Pampa and a school for Basic General Education in Catriló. The ducts were measured over one week and every 15 minutes. The monitored results were compared with simulations performed with SIMEDIF, a multiroom building simulation program developed at INENCO, that provides a one-dimensional transient model to calculate the hourly outlet duct temperature.
