AbstractGlobally, the entomopathogenic capacity of imperfect or mitosporic fungi is recognized, which can be used in biological control. In particulaRr, the Beauveria genus has great potential as an insect biocontroller, being an alternative to the use of chemical products. Therefore, the objective of this work was to identify the fungal strain MSO2 from Misiones, with potential use in pest insect control, using ITS markers.
