Resumen:
Nanoparticles injection is a new Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) metido. Its purpose is to reduce residual oil fraction by decreasing the permeability of channeled zones. The success of injection depends on the characteristics of water, poros medium and oil. That is why if is important to assess a methodology prior to injection and micro uidic devices can be customized to re ecta a specic porous medium. In this work, micro and nanotechnology techniques are used to develop micro uidic chips used in EORtests [1]. First the microdevice was saturated with water, then oil (1 oral volume 1VP). Next, water is injected at constant Now until a residual petroleum fraccion that no longer can be eliminated was observed. Finally, nanoparticles are injected and the size and physical properties are characterized to understand the physical phenomena of aggregation into porous medium. Results were plotted to quantify the por volumes of uid required to decrease the oil residual fraction.[1] Lerner et al. 2015.
