Resumen:
The Chapter is devoted to the constitutive modelling of geo-materials based on GeneralizedPlasticity Theory presented by Olek Zienkiewicz and Manuel Pastor. The aimis to provide the reader with an overview of the role of dilatacy in the modelling ofthe most relevant phenomena in soils behaviour such as liquefaction, bonding andde-bonding due to chemical processes or changes in the saturation conditions andinfluence of particle breakage.
