Resumen:
【Objective】Obesity is a worldwide health problem. The aim of this study was to investigate the immunobiology of porcine mature adipocytes (PMAs) in relation to their response to TLR2 or TLR4 stimulation by using a transcriptomic approach.【Methods】PMAs cells were stimulated with triacylated lipopeptide or LPS, and the transcriptomic response was evaluated 12 h after the stimulation treatments using the Porcine (V2) Gene Expression Microarray.【Results】TLR2 and TLR4 activation increased the expression of several inflammatory factors in PMAs including TNF-α, CCL2, CCL8, CXCL2, and VCAM1. Lipid metabolism was also affected by LPS, especially in triglycerides bioshyntesis. This study indicates that PMAs are able to generate complex metabolic/immune responses to common microbial ligands.
