This article discusses the thinking of three relevant Latin American
theorists in the fields of
communication and/or social movements and/or development; draw upon
their own experiences to illustrate strategies pursued by organisations whose work
may offer some insight into effective communication, social movements, or
action for social change in Latin America; draw out the main implications for organisations
seeking to become more effective in their work.
