Resumen:
PB (Fe4[Fe(CN)6]3) is a mixed valence compound which contains Fe(II) and Fe(III) species. The presence of ferrous besides the ferric iron in the catalyst structure enhances its catalytic activity. Prussian Blue (PB) NPs supported onto g-Al2O3 have shown to be active and stable in the peroxidation of the model azo dye Orange G (OG).The feasibility for intensifying heterogeneous Fenton-type (HFT) catalysts is explored through the use of tailored supports to provide enhanced dispersion andutilization of active sites. Synthesis of PB NPs, dispersed on highly structured TiO2 (rutile) scaffolds, is presented, along with their characterization and evaluation in HFT oxidation processes (in dark)
