Resumen:
The objective of this contribution is to study the impact of periodic interruption of the liquid flow onproduct distribution of consecutive reactions., such as those involved in Catalytic Wet Air Oxidation(CWAO). The dynamic model proposed here accounts for the various mass transport-reaction steps involves in the dry and wet portion of the cycle. Mass balances for reactants and products inside the catalytic particle are solved for different operating conditions, including steady-state. Concentration profiles inside the pellet are a valuable tool to understand the events occurring during cycling.
