Resumen:
In this speech we discussed conservation policies developed in Argentina since the early twentieth century to the present. At first, we show the process of building of new territories involving the creation of national parks throughout the twentieth century. Them, we analyze the relationship between local populations and Protected Areas. This relationship is characterized by displacement and invisibility of indigenous groups, and the current policies of integration of local populations to management of the Protected Areas.
