In particular, there has been an increasing interest in cellulose-basedcomposites materials due to renewability and abundance of this natural resource.The incorporation of magnetic nanoparticles into cellulose matrices allowsobtaining novel magnetic nanocomposites. These materials have potential applicationin papermaking and packaging, security paper, and information storage. In thiswork, magnetic cellulose fibers composites were prepared by a casting methodusing magnetic nanoparticles obtained by alkaline co-precipitation with the aimto obtain magnetic papers.
