Resumen:
Abstract: This work was focused in theproduction and characterization of microfoamedpolyurethane composites reinforced with pinewood flour (WF) that can be used in car interiorpanels construction and acoustic insulation. Acrosslinked PU, formulated from a recycledpolyol was used as matrix. The source ofisocyanate groups utilized was a polymeric MDI,for easy handling of the reactants andreinforcements. Two series of composites were formulated: setA was prepared with an Index = 1.00 (NCO toOH groups from polyol component) for all WFconcentrations, and for set B, the Index wasvaried linearly from 1.00 (unreinforced foam) upto 1.25 (20% reinforced foam).
