The present article puts forward two opposed contemporary interpretations of Hegel´s dialectics. After a short introduction, it exposes Heidegger´s “Hermeneutics of Facticity”, which determined new ways of understanding Hegel´s thought. It then discusses Gadamer´s and Apel´s interpretations, suggesting that certain topics regarding dialectics are still open to discussion.
