In this work, we synthesized BaSnO3 using two chemical methods: controlled precipitation and Pechini. Later, we determined the best condition to obtain the mixed oxides. This powder was mixed with glycerin obtaining a paste that we put over an alumina substrate. With the obtained powders thin films were prepared using the screen printing technique. The films were thermally treated up to 100°C for 12 hours. Finally, these treated films were tested to determine their ability as gas sensor. In order to analyze the films electrical behaviors, samples were exposed to O2 and CO atmospheres. Films conformed with Pechinis?s method powders showed a greater sensibility in presence of a CO atmosphere.
