Resumen:
Through the notion of apparatuses this chapter describes the lines of force that, in our currents ?management societies?, have characterized territories and schooling process in contexts of extreme urban poverty, usually called shantytowns. Since the late 20th century, subjects and institutions have been called upon to manage themselves in order to become innovative and responsible, as well as adaptable and flexible. In between the regulation of these territories as well as uncodified flows, it is proposed that subjects, especially young people at school, inhabit their concerns and desires and, the process of re-territorialzation takes place. Ethnographic fieldwork enables us to approach the apparatus in its singularity: the process of regulation, the conduct of conduct as well as the lines of fissure and fracture; in sum, an ethnography of the molar, the molecular and the desire. Following Deleuze, it means making history in the present, which consists of the study of the form events assume in this configuration, and hence of their splittings and detours; that is broken historicity.
