Resumen:
We are living in a time when large masses of workers have become large masses of the unemployed and, to borrow Butler’s term, their bodies constitute an army of bodies that don’t matter. Neither as workers nor as consumers do they find a place. This is probably one of the greatest dilemmas in our sociality, in the globalized world and in regions like Latin America in particular. In the framework of governmentality studies, in this paper we present advances in research geared towards characterizing schooling practices in contexts of extreme urban poverty, specifically in one of the areas on the outskirts of Buenos Aires (Argentina) with the greatest concentration of shantytown. We will focus, in this work, on the characteristics that we understand to distinguish the pedagogical devices and processes of subjectivation bound to the configuration of these abject territories. <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} @page Section1 {size:612.0pt 792.0pt; margin:70.85pt 3.0cm 70.85pt 3.0cm; mso-header-margin:36.0pt; mso-footer-margin:36.0pt; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} -->
