Resumen:
In this paper was proposed a new preparation route of Ni/Al2O3, using alumina synthesized fromaluminum cans powders. Obtained catalysts were tested in methane dry reforming and showed a goodperformance: high methane conversion (68-78%), high carbon-dioxide conversion (76-91%), highselectivity to hydrogen (84%) and H2/CO molar ratio close to 1, being the idea promising for futureindustrial applications
