Resumen:
this is the first study specifically evaluatingthe role of bilateral leg CUS in hospitalized patients managed withmulti-slice CTPA. Our preliminary findings suggest that CUS could identifya proximal DVT in 6% of the patients with negative CTPA and that CTPAmight not be enough to rule out PE in this population. A larger sampleis required to corroborate our findings.
