Resumen:
Dryness, loss of elasticity and deep wrinkles are some of the visible signs of aging skin. In this sense, there are antioxidant cosmetic products in the form of creams, gels and serums that include Melatonin (MEL) and components such as Hyaluronic Acid (HA) that are used in these formulations for hydration, protection and anti-aging purposes. However, the low permeability of the stratum corneum has allowed these cosmetic formulations to have a relatively low success rate. There are new innovative systems called microneedles (MA) that consist of multiple microscopic projections
