Energy efficiency can be applied in buildings and industries, resulting in the minimization of CO2 in the environment and economic savings for the user. This project analyzes the consumption of the pumping system used to supply the water flow demanded in San Nicolás de los Arroyos. This study is carried out over a period of one year. During that period of time, the corresponding consumption of the power service contracted and the power factor of each group of pumps were analyzed. However, this is made the economic comparation between the years 2018 and 2020. The results obtained indicate a high number of pumps with defective contracts and a low power factor.
