The Eta Carinae 2009.0 ?event?: a detailed photometric record

Resumen:
During the last ?event? ocurred in 2009.0, Eta Carinae was the target of several ob-serving programs. In our optical-photometric monitoring campaign, we recorded withdetail the behavior of the associated ?eclipse-like? event, which happened fairly onschedule. In this work we present the resulting UBVRI light curves, and we also deter-mined a more accurate value of the period, according to these new data.
