Chronic venous leg ulcer (CLVU) arises as a complication of chronic venous insufficiency. This high recurrence pathology has an overallprevalence ranging up to 2% in general population, causing an important reduction in life quality and large financial costs for patients and healthcare system. To get a better diagnostic and treatment, it?s crucial to identificate the parameters involved in this pathology, being the exudate(wound fluid) composition a biochemical representation of the clinical state of a wound.
