Resumen:
1)The effects of the use of drugs of abuse on social behaviors such as parenting, interpersonal relationships, sexual behaviors and couple instability are known. Recent evidence suggests that this relationship between drug use and social behavior modification is reciprocal. Different social experiences during early development and throughout life can have direct effects on drug use. Evidence in animal models indicates that males of stable pairs of monogamous rodents require higher doses of amphetamines to express a preference conditioning than virgin males, suggesting that the pair bonding would appear to attenuate preferences associated with amphetamines. In the same way, parental care behavior exerts a considerable influence on a wide repertoire of behaviors, both in the offspring and in the parents. Here, we aimed to analyze in a C57BL/6 mice strain, if mono- (MP) or biparental (BP) rearing may affects parents? behavior, partner preference after cohabitation and alcohol consumption.
