Resumen:
Abstract: Epithermal manifestations in La Aurora Farm, northeast of the Deseado Massif.Comparative study of the Bertha and Marixa veins. These veins are hosted in Chon AikeFormation ignimbrites and lavas, from the middle-upper Jurassic. From the studies carriedout, it was determined that they are composed of six hydrothermal pulses. These pulses aremainly composed of a siliceous filling represented by quartz, which can sometimes beaccompanied by adularia, calcite, sericite and Mn oxides. They present several primarygrowth textures, such as quartz-comb and zonal, as well as recrystallization and replacementtextures. From the characteristics found, it is interpreted as epithermal deposits of lowsulphidation type. According to the geochemical analysis, the Marixa vein showedanomalous values of Au, Ag, Mn, Sb and As. It is interpreted that pulse 4 from this vein, richin oxides of Mn, is the precious metals bearing pulse.
