Resumen:
Vanadium and Indium are considered critical rawmaterials because of their economic importance andsupply risk. The sustainable supply of these elements isfundamental for the global electronics industry and its rolein the transition to clean energy (steel production for windturbines, vanadium-based redox flow batteries, solarphotovoltaic panels, and nuclear power in electricitygeneration). The La Luz project is a poorly exploredintermediate sulfidation epithermal deposit located inPatagonia, Argentina. It isenriched in Cu, Ag, Pb, Au, andZn and with rare enrichment inV, In, and W and anomaliesof Ga, Bi, Mo, Sb, and Te. Recent whole rockanalyses ofore samples have shown high concentrations inthesemetals (up to 1455 ppm vanadium and 310 ppm indium). The presence of these metals, mainly V, is relatively rarein this type of deposit and represents a discovery in theregion.
