Desarrollo embrionario de Ilex paraguariensis A. St.-Hil. durante el almacenamiento.

The seeds of Ilex paraguariensis A. St.-Hil. present immature embryos at the time of dispersion of the fruits. This aimed to study was examine the embryonic development of Ilex paraguariensis A. St.-Hil. of different batches and storage conditions. It was found that for lot A, the embryonic development of seeds of I. paraguariensis is benefited by the storage of dry and cold seeds. Lot B matured with time in the condition of dry seeds and storage at 25 °C. In addition, a high percentage of seeds in the globular stage was observed, higher than 40 % in all the samples evaluated and any seeds with mature embryos were found.
