Temporal Variation of Middle Stratospheric Ozone Observed at the Southern Tip of South America during Austral Spring

The O3 emission spectra at 110 GHz frequency region have been observed since June 2012 by a millimeter-wave radiometer located at Río Gallegos.The time series of O3 mixing ratio profile were derived from the observed spectra by retrieval analysis.We made the intercomparison campaigns between ozonesonde, DIAL, and MWR in October 2014, November 2014, and October 2015.The O3 mixing ratios on isentropic surfaces between 650 and 850 K highly (>~0.5) correlated with EPV and EqL.The causes of short-term variation of O3 mixing ratios at altitude (geometric height) levels were investigated using anomalies of EPV and potential temperature.
