Dietary patterns provided by carbohydrates- and saturated fatty acid-rich food (CAP and FAP), represented mainly by fructose (F) and palmitic acid (PA) respectively, is positively associated with the risk of breast cancer, with the cellular mechanisms being far to be fully elucidated. We aimed to evaluate the dietary effects on the microenvironment interactions between cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and tumoral cells, mediated by extracellular vesicles (EVs).
