Resumen:
The vitamin A is an indispensable nutrient for the growth and cell differentiation. Previous works made in our laboratory have shown that the deficit of vitamin A modifies parametres of oxidative stress and lipid metabolism in heart and aorta. The oxidative stress is the exposure of living tissues to various sources that produces a rupture of the equilibrium that must exist between the prooxidant factors and the antioxidant mechanisms. This brings with it alterations in the relationship structure-function of any organ. The objetive of this work was the study of the parametres of the oxidative stress, metabolims of lipids and glucose in liver of rats with deficiency of vitamin A through the determination of the reactive species to the tribarbituric acid (TBARS), carbonyls groups of proteins by ELISA, quantification of tissue and serum lipids and serum glucose by enzymatic assays using a autoanalyzer CB350i of the Wiener Lab. It was used one way Anova, test tukey, regression and correlation analysis with Graphpad Prism, p
