Efectos dasométricos del manejo de la densidad de rodales de Prosopis alba

Thinning intensity tests were placed in two forestations to determine and analyze their effects on many dasometric variables. On those treatments, almost 23 and 49,9% of the basal area was extracted. The felling intensity, site quality, growth vigor and density at the time of clearing has influence on the algarrobo forestation response to the thinning. By and large, the increment on the coverage is directly proportional with the post-thinning density, whilst the diameter increment is defined by an inverse relevance.
