Resumen:
Through of a non-destructive measurement technique, values of diameter and stem height of 555 trees from plantations of Prosopis alba from two argentines provinces were evaluated to determine the best mathematical model for stem volume estimation. The 75% of the sample was destinate to the selection process for the best model and the remaining 25% to the validation process. The accuracy evaluation of the 10 examinated mathematical models was made through many adjustment statistics. Logarithmic model proposed by Schumacher-Hall (1933) obtained the best statistical performance.
