Resumen:
This chapter describes the current situation of women teaching law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) Law School and concludes that, however important, the progress experienced by University of Buenos Aires (UBA) women legal academics has proved insuffi cient to bring about gender equality. This is not surprising as it mirrors the general tendency concerning women ? s participation in the public sphere where women have been let in in large numbers, but have great difficulty attaining the higher posts.
