Global South Dronification: Mapping drone techniques and aesthetics from Cordoba

We unpack the phenomenon of "dronification of society" by expanding the complexity of the drone as a technological assemblage (flying platform + camera) to the drone as a "socio-technical network"(technical elements embedded in local uses, regulations and imaginaries). Therefore, one of the outcomes we have achieved with our project is to broaden the understanding of drones through local and global, technical and visual, and political and imaginary assemblages. We seek to expand the necessary interdisciplinary and international dialogue around these topic and draw new lines of interrogation.
