Quantumdiscord measures the fraction of the pair-wise mutual informationthat is locally inaccessible in a multipartite system. Nonzeroquantum discord has interesting and significant applications becausealthough non-zero entanglement guarantees the existence of quantumcorrelation in a bipartite quantum system, zero entanglement does notguarantee the absence of a quantum correlation. On the other hand,many quantum optics systems can be described as deformed quantumoscillators. In this work, we investigate the quantum discord ofbipartite entangled nonlinear coherent states, in the context of theso-called f-deformed coherent states algebra. To calculate thequantum discord, we consider quasi-Werner mixed states bases onbipartite entangled f-deformed coherent states. Two explicit analyticexpressions are derived for the quantum discord of two differentnonlinear deformed coherent states. The first one considers deformedcoherent states obtained as eigenstates of the annihilation deformedoperator, and the second one is obtained by using a deformeddisplacement operator. We compare the quantum discord of thosestates, when the nonlinear deformation function is either associatedwith the SU(1,1) coherent states in the Gilmore-Perelomov orBarut-Girardello representations, respectively.p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120%; }a:link { }
