Resumen:
The study of the feeding habits of the Antarctic fur seal,Arctocephalus gazella, constitutes an important tool to interprete its role as atop predator in the food webs of the Antarctic marine ecosystem. The aim ofthe present study was to analyse the diet of male fur seals hauled out at StrangerPoint during two consecutive summer seasons (1996, 1997) and to detectwhether or not there existed interannual changes in the contribution of thedifferent prey taxa to their diet.
