Resumen:
The gills of fishes are multifunctional organs involved in gas exchange, pH regulation and nitrogenous waste excretion. This work analyzes the histochemical ephitelial mucosal cells of the gills of L.obtusidens in order to provide knowledge for future studies of the possible alterations of these respiratory organs in contaminated environments
