Resumen:
In this paper a numerical model for simulation of uniaxial compaction processes of powder materials is presented. The main features of the model are the following: Large strains kinematic, elasto-plastic constitutive equation, and use of Coulombtype friction model to simulate the friction effects bettwen the powder and the walls of the mould. Some preliminary results comparing two different loadings sequences are also presented.
