The Instituto de Hidrología de Llanuras -Argentina has been studying evapo-transpiration (ET) using lysimeters since 2010 with the aim of validating differentmethods. This work presents the study about direct measurements of actual ETby means of a weighing lysimeter in an Argiudol soil from Pampa Plains, Argentina.The information generated was used to evaluate the Penman-Monteith (FAO-56).The methods were tested under different soil moisture conditions. Estimated ETvalues showed a good correlation with actual ET when soil moisture was high,moreover greater differences were showed when the soil moisture tends tolower values (
