Bacia hidrográfica Piray Miní: geoprocessamento aplicado ao zoneamento territorial e sua implicância com a legislação

This study was conducted to discern and describehomogeneous zones on Piray Miní river basin, Misiones-Argentina, according to variables:land use, soils, hydrography, slope and altimetry. For this, five maps werecreated containing the analysis variables and were superposed a grid of regularhexagons of 60 hectares each one, contained the covered of variables with thesurface in hectares. Using each of the hexagons as units of analysis wasadjusted a matrix with 28 columns (variables) and 2645 lines (hexagons). Forthe partitioning of the matrix was applied the K-means clustering technique,later, the performed of groups was analyzed by the technique of Multi-ResponsePermutation Procedure. As a result, a particular division of Piray Miní basin wasproposed. Eight homogeneous zones were identified: Preservation Forest Zone; HeadwatersZone; Intensive Use Zone; Half Intensive Use Zone; River Zone; Transition Zone;Lowland Zone and Hydromorphic Zone. Thus, the variables used providedsufficient information for classification area from which it is possible todirect the planning and basin management based on sustainability and existinglegislation.
