VIP induces a tolerogenic profile in the CBAxDBA mating combination

Implantation sites were isolated after in vivo VIP treatment(1nmol ip) or PBS performed on d6. VIP/VPAC, RORgT and cytokineexpression was assessed by RTPCR (Protocol approved by School ofSciences Ethics Committee).Results: VIP and their receptor VPAC1 was expressed in uterus andinduced at d9 of pregnancy. Moreover, VIP induced a significant increase inIL-10 and Foxp3 expression while decreased IL-17 and RORgT in theimplantation sites.
