Resumen:
The objective of this essay is to analyze and describe the development of Geely as an automotive company in the context of the economic development of Zhejiang Province, as well as the recent expansion of the company´s business in Argentina. The work is subdivided into three sections: first, we will study the economic environment in which Geely was born; that is, we will review the economic development of Zhejiang Province and the construction of Hangzhou as a city of innovation and production of high-tech goods. Second, we will consider Geely´s history and the relationship between its development and the economic dynamics of the province. Finally, we will analyze Geely´s career in Argentina and consider the company´s future prospects in the South American country.
