Resumen:
El mundo en movimiento: El concepto de revolución en Iberoamérica y elAtlántico norte (siglos XVII?XX) compiles the investigations of several scholars, whose views, in spite of diff erent time frames and spaces, allow for a coherentand cohesive thread by studying the concept of revolution throughthe lens of conceptual history. Nietzsche?s statement that ?all concepts withinwhich an entire process is semiotically summarized escape defi nition; onlythat with no history can be defi ned,?1 which grounded Koselleck?s theory andmethodology of the history of concepts, provides an accurate synthesis of thespirit that traverses the book compiled by Fabio Wasserman. Th e book investigatesthe stabilities, shift s, and development of revolution between the seventeenthand twentieth centuries, in England, France, the Iberian Peninsula, the United States, the French Antilles, Brazil, and part of Hispanic America.
