The impact of selective logging on subtropical forests is still unknown. We studied the effect oftwo selective logging techniques, conventional logging, and reduced impact logging, on betadiversity and their components in tree communities of subtropical forests. We observed that theecological processes that most influence beta diversity are related to abundance differences. Theturnover rate remains relatively stable through the years. There is a tendency to re-establish theirinitial conditions of turnover and abundance after 8 years
