Resumen:
Sampling is the most critical issue in cultural heritage (CH) analyses. The aim of a complete characterization of a cultural object involves the complexity of minimizing the invasiveness without compromising the representativeness of results. In this work, sampling and multi-analytical strategies to study different CH objects are presented. Non-invasive strategies were reserved for screening purposes providing valuable information of surface composition, while micro-sampling allowed detailed layer by layer chemical composition based on chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
