Resumen:
Aquatic mammals include species that live their entire lives in water, such as whales, dolphins or manatees, and those that use both terrestrial and aquatic environments, like seals, otters, and hippopotamuses. Aquatic mammals introduced by humans outside of their native range constitute only a small fraction of the more than 100 introduced invasive mammals found worldwide, but at least four species merit special attention, having attained extensive distributions as exotics and producing large ecological and economic impacts.
