Descripción:
This document presents an overview of the e-government infrastructure development activity carried out within the context of the e-Macao Project. The infrastructure development tasks involve analysis, design and implementation of five infrastructure elements: (i) Front Office Application Framework, (ii) Back Office Application Framework, (iii) Government-wide Workflow Infrastructure, (iv) Extensible Messaging Gateway and (v) Infrastructure Management Services. Two auxiliary services, namely the Application Tracking and Notification services, are also developed as part of these tasks. Together, these elements provide both design-time and runtime support for the rapid and standardized development of Electronic Public Services (e-services). Application frameworks deliver design-time services while infrastructure services provide runtime support to eservices. To guarantee the reliability of infrastructure services, all infrastructure elements are managed through a logical container, based on a set of management services. The overview of these five elements are presented in this document and the references to their detailed development documents are provided. Finally, guidelines are defined on how the developed infrastructure elements can be used to build complete e-services.
