Resumen:
Larvae of the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens L.) are proficient decomposers oforganic matter. We conducted experiments to compare locally available substratesincluding domestic residuals (DR) and brewery wastes (BW) in pure form or mixed in ahigher and lower proportion of brewery wastes (BW70 and BW30 respectively), andwith sequentially mixed diets, feeding larvae first with DR, and then with BW (DR/BW)and vice-versa (BW/DR).
