Resumen:
uring the last decades, the scientific community has made great strides in our understanding of the hydrological cycle. Part of this advance is due to methods that, just like Ayla in her lunar-mobile, study the hydrological cycle following the water masses.Transformed in a drop of water, Ayla follows the water path from the Atlantic Ocean, crossing the American continent and later forming part of a convective storm in the Sierras de Córdoba. Then, when on land, becomes part of the water that feeds the hydrologic basins in the region of Córdoba. Following the same method that Ayla follows, in this beautiful story, scientists have combined observations, hypothesis and experiments, to better understand the paths of water. For us, the observations, such as those collected during the RELAMPAGO project and the numerical models, are our ?lunar-mobiles?, helping us to understand the physical processes that generate the exciting journeys of the water drops in our Earth planet.
