Resumen:
Corn silage is a food with high energy and high yield/ha which has good palatability andconsistency.Harvestingandstoragearequick.Comparedwithother forageishaslowercostpertonofdrymatter(Lauer,2011).Corn,fortheircontentofreadilyfermentablecarbohydratesisoneofthemostsuitablecropsforsilage (Fregonaetal.,2007,Huentingetal.,2012).Differentcornhybridsdifferregardingthevariablesassociatedwithsuitabilityforsilage,soitisimportanttogenerateinformationontheperformanceofthese(Mahanna,2005).Whenevaluatingdifferentgenotypesforagronomiccharacteristics,itisinterestingtointerpretthe similarity/dissimilarity between them. To this are effective and widely usedmultivariateanalysis techniques that allow visualizing and interpreting graphs by ordering relationsbetweengenotypes(Balzarinietal.,2007;Bonamicoetal.,2006;Ortolanetal.,2011).Cluster analysis, often used as a screening method, could be used in order to meet thepopulationgeneticstructureofdifferentgenotypesofmaizehybrids.Whenmultiplevariablesforeachlevelofoneormorefactorsthatdefinethetreatmentsstudied,multivariateanalysisofvariance(MANOVA)wasusedtomakesimultaneousinferencesabouttheeffectsoffactoranalysismodel(Balzarinietal.,2008;Vegaetal.,2011).Theaimofthisstudywastoevaluatethequalityandnutritionalvalueofdifferentcornsilagehybrids intheRíoCuartolocality,Córdobaprovince,Argentina.
