The Aesthetic Attitudes and the Second Person in Guerrero's Operative Aesthetics in its Three Directions

This contribution introduces, analyses and discusses Luis Juan Guerrero´s thesis on artworks as entities, events or processes "orginary in Second Person" and "derived in "Third Person. I attemppt to show how this aproach articulates the three dimensions of his Operative Aesthetics (1956, 1967): the contemplative, productive and promotional attitudes towards the work of art.
